I’m Sarah Cooper and I am a Reflexologist, Aromatherapist, Reiki Master Practitioner, Massage Therapist and Writer based in Boroughbridge, North Yorkshire.
If you are feeling stressed, anxious, tense, struggling to sleep, have low mood or simply need to unwind for an hour I may be able to help!
Generally I am happy to travel up to 30 mins or about 15 miles from Boroughbridge but if you’re out of my catchment (within reason!) please have a chat with me about it and I will see what I can do.
I am qualified, experienced, insured and a full member of the Association of Reflexologists. I also hold a First Aid and management of catastrophic bleeding certificate, (although I really hope I never need to use it!)
Appointment times to suit you
My schedule is fairly flexible so I have a mix of daytime and evening appointments.
If you don’t see the exact appointment time you need or would like to book yourself in with a partner, friend or relative on the same day, please message me and I will do my best to accommodate you
My Mission
My mission is to help you feel the best you can do, by offering treatments and support. I want you to feel comfortable with me, to totally relax and take a step away from the day to day stresses of life.
I aim for you to feel nurtured, supported and comfortable on my couch or recliner chair. The time we spend together is your time, where the focus is on you and that you’re given the care and attention that you deserve to have. That we all deserve to have.
All my treatments are tailored to what you need on that particular day. I appreciate that we’re not all the same, and that what we need varies from day to day.
So tell me whether you need a gentle, soothing session, or something more invigorating to wake you up again. Or whatever you need.
I also appreciate that how we feel emotionally is important and that that can vary from day to day too.
About Home Visits
Do I need to tidy up? No!
Please don’t worry about how tidy your house is or if you have pets or noisy children, I am used to lively households and tend to be so busy focusing on whether you’re warm, comfortable and enjoying the treatment to worry about whether you’ve vacuumed the floor today, honestly.
All I need is space for my reclinable chair or my massage couch (depending what treatment you’re having) and possibly to borrow a dining type chair or perch on your sofa and I’m happy.
I know when I first had an appointment at home myself I worried about whether I should repaint the hallway and buy a new shoe rack (I’m not even joking) and was pleased when I realised that I didn’t need to! It then got me wondering if people who consider having a treatment at home may be worrying about the same thing.
If you are, please don’t worry – I am genuinely not bothered.
The best thing about having an at home treatment is…
The most wonderful thing about having a treatment at home is that you don’t need to snap out of that warm, relaxed feeling you get after a treatment to drive home. You can simply float over onto your sofa or up to bed or whatever.
You also don’t have to find anywhere to park, battle with the elements etc. I do all that bit for you.
Massage Treatments
My massage couch claims to be lightweight and portable – it does fold up but it’s definitely not what I would describe as lightweight so please may we use a downstairs room if you would like an at home massage.
Please note that whilst Aromatherapy Massage is listed as being a slower and lighter treatment than Swedish massage, I do adjust the pressure to suit you (within reason!) It still is firm if you like firm and lighter if you like lighter.
However if you’re wanting something fast and furious, or really, really heavy pressure, or a jolly good pommelling this probably isn’t for you. It is more suited for people who want to relax and be soothed and for the stresses of daily life to be massaged away.
Would you like a receipt for your treatment?
I am happy to email you a receipt for your Reflexology treatment once you’ve had it and paid for it.
If you have any form of health insurance, medical cash back plans etc, or a welfare package through work it may be worthwhile checking to see if you can claim some money back.

Yes, that’s fine. I am happy to provide you with a receipt for your session once I have received your payment and you’ve had your reflexology session
Please double-check if your health insurance policy covers reflexology and massage before booking as I know not all policies do.
What is your cancellation policy?

If you have an emergency or are ill or if anyone in your household has an illness like covid, diarrhoea and vomiting etc please call me on 07720397734 as soon as possible.
I will not charge you for cancelling if it is an emergency, but for non-emergency cancellations I will charge your the full treatment amount if you do not give me 24 hours notice.
How often should I have reflexology or massage?
There is no one correct answer to this! It depends on your schedule and your budget. Some of my clients have a session every week, others every fortnight. Some have a treatment 4-5 weeks and others just when they feel like they need a little time out on my couch.
If you have an on-going health concern, it may be worth starting off with having a session every 1-2 weeks, moving on to a monthly maintanence session once things have settled down a little.
Home Visits: Do you bring everything you need with you?
If I am doing a home visit I will bring with me my reclinable chair or my massage couch, depending on what treatment you’re having. I will bring with me my towels, lotions and potions etc. If you would prefer me to use your lotion please let me know.
Please would I be able to either perch on your sofa or borrow a dining style chair?
Some clients having reflexology may be able to use their own bed or chair, depending on space etc.
Please note: For massage-based home visits I will need to use a DOWNSTAIRS room as my massage couch is too heavy for me to carry upstairs.
