Sarah Cooper Reflexology Boroughbridge
Hello! I’m Sarah Cooper, a Reflexologist and Reiki Master Practitioner based near Boroughbridge, North Yorkshire. My main specialism is Reflexology and I have studied with some of the top Reflexologists in the UK. I am qualified and insured and a Full member of the Association of Reflexologists.
I offer Reflexology, Facial Reflexology, Maternity Reflexology and Reiki treatments in the comfort of your own home in the Boroughbridge, Ripon and Knaresborough areas, along with all the surrounding villages. As a very rough guide I say I cover up to a 10 mile radius of Boroughbridge.
Appointments at a time to suit you
My schedule is very flexible and I have some evening and weekend appointments on request, as well as daytime appointments. I appreciate that not everyone can get to a clinic or salon during working hours, and I enjoy being able to be flexible with my time so it works well for everyone.
Relax at home
Having a treatment at home means that you can truly relax, you’re not having to rush around, finding a parking space or money for the meter. You can have your treatment and then float back off to your sofa or your bed, without having to snap out of that wonderful sleepy fug that you often get post treatment. Some of my clients wear pyjamas for their treatments as they are comfortable and allow the legs to be rolled up a little way so I can massage the lower legs as well as their feet!
I have a Covid-19 proceedure to follow to keep both of us safe. This includes enhanced cleaning, handwashing/sanitisation and using fresh towels for every client. I will also wear a mask and would prefer it if you would wear yours too, although if you’re exempt from wearing one then this is fine too.
What is Reflexology and how can it help me?
Reflexology is a non-invasive complementary therapy, which works on the principle that in the feet (or hands, face, or even ears) have specific points which when pressed using a firm but gentle way can help clear energy blockages and restore balance in the body. It has an all over body effect despite only working on the feet (or face etc) It is perfect for people who are shy or body-concious as the only items of clothing that you need to remove are your shoes and socks.
The benefits of Reflexology include:
Improving your sense of wellbeing,
Improving sleep patterns,
Helping to relieve stress and tension,
Lifting low mood
When I’ve had reflexology myself I’ve noticed that I generally feel calmer, happier, and more able to cope. I liken it to having a mini-holiday for an hour!
Sometimes we just need to be able to stop juggling everything life throws at us and recharge our own batteries for a while. To be able to put down all the worries that we carry, just for an hour can be deeply therapeutic.
Who can Reflexology help?
Reflexology is suitable for all age groups and can be especially helpful if you are struggling to sleep, find it hard to relax, are stressed, anxious, nervous or feeling tense.
Reflexology can be helpful in Pregnancy by allowing you time for yourself and your baby. It can be useful for managing some of the symptoms of pregnancy and in helping to reduce some of the apprehension you may be feeling regarding the birth. It helps your body relax and be in a prime state ready for giving birth.
If you would like to find out more about Reflexology and how it might be able to help you feel better please give me a call on 07720397734 and we can have a free, no-obligation chat.

Amazing reflexologist – perfect.
Wow! A fantastic reflexology experience with Sarah, perfect pressure and technique, felt so relaxed and refreshed after this treatment. I wanted it to go on forever and will definitely be booking a regular treatment. If you haven’t tried reflexology I absolutely recommend you book Sarah – you don’t know what you’re missing otherwise!
I have had reflexology and massage treatments with Sarah and I would highly recommend them. Sarah has a warm energy that comes through her hands. Sarah listens to how you feel and tailors her treatments accordingly. After the treatments I felt so very relaxed I didn’t want to get off the massage couch! Sarah is a very caring therapist and this shines through. Thank you!
