Distant Reiki Treatments
Are you in need of a lie down in a darkened room for half an hour or feeling stressed, tense or anxious? I have a solution. Reiki can be sent from a distance.
So there’s no need for us to be in the same room, same town or even in the same country. You can be anywhere in the world!
I’ve experienced it myself and found when I’ve received it feels very similar to hands-on reiki, with similar results. I LOVE IT

The Benefits of Reiki include
- Inducing a sense of deep relaxation
- Reducing anxiety
- Increasing sense of physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing
- Calming body mind and spirit
- Reducing emotional stress
- Releasing tension in body and unwinding tired minds
- Being calm and supportive during pregnancy
- Providing support and comfort when life is a challenge

What happens in a Distant Reiki Treatment?
Distant Reiki treatments will be done via zoom. At the agreed appointment time we will have an initial consultation/chat via zoom to find out what is going on for you.
Then you’ll get yourself comfortable somewhere you won’t be disturbed or interrupted for half an hour or so.
This could be your bed, or the sofa, your favourite comfortable chair, a shady sun lounger in the garden if the weather is nice. You just need to be able to get comfortable and relax.
You might wish to draw the curtains or to put on some soft relaxation music in the background. Or you might like to put on some incense or a candle.
A light blanket can help you feel secure and ‘tucked in’. Once you’re ready and relaxed on your sofa or wherever you’ve chosen to be I will connect to Reiki and send it to you. You might feel a warm sensation, or feel like you’re being held securely, or you might not feel anything at all. The reiki will still be working its magic whatever you experience.
Once I’ve finished sending the reiki I will disconnect (usually using a tingsha bell) and after a few minutes (to allow you to ‘come back into the room’) I will ask you how you are, and see if you noticed anything during the treatment.
You should leave the treatment feeling calmer, more relaxed and less tense.

After the treatment
After any treatment whether distant or in-person it is important to keep well hydrated. So sip plenty of water or herbal tea for the rest of the day.
Rest as much as you can. If possible take some time out for yourself, maybe read a magazine or a book, go for a gentle stroll, be kind to yourself.
Note any emotions or sensations you might be feeling. Sometimes it brings up and releases old ‘stuff’ Just observe the thoughts and let them go.
Think about what you need to do for the rest of the day, only do things you absolutely have to do.
Eat a light diet and avoid caffeine, alcohol, spicy food and tobacco for at least 24 hours after your treatment.
If you find that you have any headaches or flu-like symptoms after your treatment drink more water and rest, it should pass within 24-48 hours.
